Sons of the Desert Charity Fund

Over many years the Sons of the Desert Charity Funds raised thousand of pounds for many charities. The fund was started by Nancy Wardell and latterly was administered by Chris Coffey.

At this year's UK Sons of the Desert Convention, it was proposed that the time had come for the Charity Fund to be wound up. After discussion, this proposal was unanimously supported and it was noted that in future tents and individuals will continue to raise funds for various good causes, as has already become an established and successful policy.
