Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy and their movies are celebrated in Bowler Dessert magazine, and on Bowler Dessert Online. Laurel and Hardy are kept alive by the Sons of the Desert, which is the official Laurel & Hardy appreciation society. Bowler Dessert is the only magazine with a full listing of UK branches, called tents, and their contact details. It has plenty of Laurel and Hardy and Sons of the Desert news and views. Bowler Dessert Online is a cyberspace equivalent in which Stan and Ollie are honoured, as are their supporting players from the Hal Roach studios. The magazine and website have been widely acclaimed.
