Peter Brodie RIP

Peter Brodie passed away today (18 August). He died in the arms of his wife Julie.

Peter had a lengthy fight with cancer. Throughout this he was always very positive and was an inspiration to many, many others. Three months ago Bowler Dessert Online posted a page about Peter completing the10k Manchester Run for charity [click here]. It demonstrates nicely what an inspirational fellow Peter truly was.

Peter was the founding Grand Sheik of the Blotto Tent of Tameside and had remained in office right till the end - a very long and successful term which including hosting the UK Conventions in Oldham in 1992 and 2004.

How sad we are that he has gone. We will miss him dearly.

Our thoughts are with Julie, son Alex and Peter's twin, Paul.
