Charity donation

The Call of the Cuckoos Tent has donated £100 to Variety, the Children's Charity, as a result of sales of Laurel and Hardy Christmas cards and a small donation from the tent. They did the same last year!

Thanks go to all those who bought the cards.

Having seen your last Bulletin, I wondered who King Rat Adger Brown was so Googled Water Rats, got onto their website, clicked on Our History which brings up a side bar of options, click on 'A Slice of History , which you can either read or scroll down to the bottom and there's an old clip of the Boys when they were inducted into the Water Rats on 30th March 1947.

Back on the side bar there's Laurel and Hardy with PKR (Past King Rat) Wee Georgie Wood - a photo of the three of them with a note that they were Water Rats 465 and 466 and that the photo had been donated by Roy Hudd.

Brats Tent's Christmas meeting

We had a great night at the Harlequin pub, including some great films, a wonderful home made chip buttie, and great beer.

We also held our annual 'Bring a prize, win a prize' raffle where members who donate a raffle prize, win a prize donated by someone else.

We watched The Fixer Uppers and the colorised version of Babes in Toyland and had a great time.

Best wishes to all Sons during this feztive season from the Brats Tent

John Burton
